The Edward Taylor Coombs Foundation Scholarship Committee reviewed 25 applications from the greater Philadelphia area as part of the 2021 scholarship awards. In all, $40,000 in total scholarships were awarded to 12 high school seniors. The largest annual scholarship award was earmarked for a freshman at Marist College, where Edward Coombs had been an exceptional player on the men\’s lacrosse team.
Since its inception in the fall of 2011, the Edward Taylor Coombs Foundation has awarded more than $600,000 in scholarships to dozens of high school graduates.
