Our Mission
The ETC Foundation is a non profit organization for youth and furthers the legacy of its namesake, the late Edward Taylor Coombs, who passed away unexpectedly in 2011 at the age of 19. The Foundation supports the next generation of student leaders through scholarships for higher education, sporting events, and programming that supports education about responsible decision making for young adults.

The Edward Taylor Coombs (ETC) Foundation held the 15th annual outing and scholarship awards dinner on 7/20. We are proud to announce 27 outstanding high school seniors were awarded a total of $73,000 in scholarships to support their continued educational pursuits. These awards reflect the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to investing in the next generation of scholars, athletes, and visionary leaders of tomorrow.
This year’s scholarship recipients exemplify academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the world around them.

We provide scholarships for students who are seniors in high school and who exhibit leadership in academics, sports and community service. Since 2012, we have awarded nearly $1 million to help more than 250 students attend colleges and universities across the country.

Edward Taylor Coombs was an academically gifted and athletically talented young man. He was a member of the Hatboro-Horsham High School Class of 2010 and a rising sophomore and honor student at Marist College, where he was a standout varsity lacrosse player wearing jersey No. 34.
