On Oct.12 -13 2013 the Edward Taylor Coombs Foundation will be sponsoring the Edward Taylor Coombs Lacrosse Fallball Shootout event hosted by Hatboro-High School, Marist College and Ursinus College.
The event will take place at Hatboro-Horsham High School, where Coombs was a 2010 graduate. The event will run for two days. Oct. 12 will feature Division I and Division II men’s teams Marist, Merrimack, Lemoyne and NYIT. Saturday will also include Division I women’s teams Marist, Wagner, Columbia, Drexel Central Connecticut State University and LaSalle. Division III teams will meet on Sunday, Oct. 13 and will include Ursinus, St. Mary’s, McDaniel, Montclair State, Albright, Easten Connecticut and Eastern.
Admission to the games is $5, free for all under the age of 5. Parking will be free in the lots surrounding the high school.
All proceeds for this event will be donated to the Edward Taylor Coombs Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, for both higher education scholarships as well as educational based programs supporting positive and responsible decision making.
