The Edward Taylor Coombs Foundation has been diligently watching the reports on COVID-19 and its impact on our social and mental well-being.
Consequently, we have made the decision to postpone the 2020 Edward Taylor Coombs Foundation Golf Outing and Scholarship Awards Dinner until July 19, 2021.
Next year will be bittersweet; 10 years since the passing of our beautiful and beloved Edward. With the support of you and all of those a part of the ETC Foundation network, we have been able to continue his legacy, uplift the community, and provide deserving students with much-needed financial support.
Thanks to all of the generous contributions and support we have received, the ETC Foundation has raised more than $600,000 to date! We are
forever grateful for your tireless support and constant stream of encouragement.
The ETC Scholarship Committee reviewed 34 applications not only from Horsham and our surrounding communities, but also Atlanta and California as well. We awarded a total of $44,500 this year to 11 student scholars, as well as Marist College and the Urban League.
Additionally, Irene Waitzman of Cruise Planners, LLC, our Title Sponsor for the Golf Outing, has pledged to match up to $10,000 in donations for the remainder of this year. We are hopeful that you will help us to achieve this goal.
