Hundreds of Division I, Division II and Division III male and female lacrosse athletes from more than a dozen colleges took to the fields at Hatboro-Horsham High School\’s Stadium on Oct. 10, 2015 for the fourth annual Fall Ball Shootout.
Weather was perfect for the all-day competition, which also featured a youth skills building clinic. Spectators came out, standing along the sidelines and sitting in the bleachers, to cheer on their favorite teams.
About 100 Edward Taylor Coombs Foundation volunteers helped to make this year\’s event a success in a variety of ways, from directing traffic into the parking lots, manning tables where T-shirts, programs and other items were available, to serving as goalie during the games and more.
The fundraising event benefits the Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy Center at Boston University.
